On August 24, professional wrestler Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, suddenly passed away at the young age of 36 years old. WWE CCO Triple H released the news on X and the cause of his death was shared a day later, a heart attack.

Rotunda In NXT

Windham Rotunda joined the WWE in 2010, being a part of the second season of the original iteration of NXT, which at the time was a mix between WWE’s usual scripted shows and a reality show with competitions in each episode. The contestants (called rookies) had a WWE superstar (called pros) “mentoring them”. The winner would get a contract from the WWE and a title opportunity whenever they waned.

In NXT, he went by the name of Husky Harris and his pro was Cody Rhodes. Harris finished 4th in his season.

Harris Debuts On The Main Roster

On October 4th, 2010 at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, a disguised Husky Harris interfered in a match between Nexus leader, Wade Barrett and John Cena. He joined Nexus 4 weeks later after failing to beat John Cena and Randy Orton in a tag team match but being inducted into the group anyway.
